Many of these countries have ideal coffee growing conditions that allow them to produce the most flavorful beans that are so distinct to South American coffee. Coffee plants take on local characteristics due to soil, altitude, climate and other factors. South American coffee is known for its light body, simplicity and sharp acidity. These characteristics distinguish the coffees produced in this region of the world. Additionally South American organic coffees also have their own unique characteristics. This South American coffee is rich and spicy chocolate notes balance this medium-bodied, well-rounded, and smooth cup. This organic South American coffee is high in caffeine making it idea for early mornings or long nights. This organic Columbian coffee is grown in Bucaramanga, Colombia, at Hacienda el Roble. This organic coffee is shade grown and the farm is dedicated to improving the communities living conditions. To date it has built a church and a school on it's site. Our organic Mexican decaffeinated coffee is from Chiapas, Mexico. This South American organic coffee is well-rounded and medium-bodied, with an earthy character. In addition to this coffee being organic it is a South American Fair Trade Certified coffee as well.
