The U.S.D.A. requires organic coffee production to include farming without synthetic pesticides or other prohibited substances for three years and a sustainable crop rotation plan to prevent erosion, the depletion of soil nutrients, and control for pests. In addition to our coffee being certified organic, our beans are Fair Trade and kosher. Fair-trade and certified organic coffee is coffee that is purchased from farmer cooperatives as opposed to large coffee plantations.
